Stress-Relieving Packing Tips for All of Your Summer Travels

One of the best ways to relieve stress is to have something to look forward to. For me, that’s always been summer vacation. My husband and I make an effort to get away each summer with the kids to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday. Someday I would love to do a cabin vacation, maybe up in the mountains somewhere, but for the most part, we are sun and beach people! Give us warm sand and beaches ANYDAY!

This year, the family and I are headed to Orlando, Florida for —you guessed it — Disney World! The kids are so excited to visit this magical place and I am ready to relax and “Let it go! Let it go!”

We have less than 30 days to get ready so it got me thinking about packing and getting myself in order for this trip!

I’m one of those girls who will hold on to things until I REALLY need an upgrade. Like really need one. My luggage was definitely in that category. This set from Travelers Club caught my eye because of its’ beautiful gold color and the fact that it comes in a set of three. I figured Livy can take at least one of them and then I can use the small carry on and the large one for the trip. This metallic set has all the bells and whistles, including spinner wheels (hallelujah for free weight rolling ) and a TSA recessed lock system!

If you’re already upgrading like me, I also suggest you get a few packing cubes to help you keep your suitcase nice and neat. You can have a separate one for all your intimates and even one for all your swimwear. This way things are easier to find and not sliding around everywhere.

Another way to keep things organized in your suitcase is a jewelry holder. This leather case by Wolf is not only luxurious but 100% functional. It has five different sections to keep your jewelry tangle free while you are traveling. Earrings, bracelets and necklaces all have a spot and make it easier to find while you switch from different activities while you’re vacationing!

Reusable bags are also great for snacks and toiletries while traveling. I have this set of two from (re)zip that can go in my carry on and one that I can use for my main suitcase that I will check. It’s also perfect for little hands who want to keep busy while in the air. You can pack a bag for each kids like I did that is full of activities and snacks! Instead of throwing them away you can give it a quick rinse and wash and use it again!

Are you planning on taking a trip this year? What are some of your essentials?
