Perfect for summer, when watermelon radishes are amply available, this bright salad offsets the bitterness of the radish with a sweet kiss of honey and mellow touch of sesame.
- 2 watermelon radish
- 1 cucumber
- 2 cups pea or sunflower sprouts
- 2 tbsp chopped shallot
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 4 tbsp raw honey
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- With a Microplane Gourmet Series Slicer, slice radish and cucumber. Arrange on a plate with sprouts.
- In a small bowl, whisk together shallots, oils, vinegar and honey. Salt and pepper generously, to taste.
