This Tequila Sunrise Is Sure to Brighten Your Day

We love to invite our close family and friends over for small gatherings as often as we can. This Tequila Sunrise cocktail is the perfect way to bring the beautiful bright spring colors and sweet sun-kissed flavors to the party!

The ingredient list couldn’t be simpler, making this the perfect cocktail to keep on hand and whip up anytime you have an impromptu party! Keeping a container of grenadine syrup and tequila in your liquor cabinet makes this so easy to pull off.

We love serving these in our Libbey stemless champagne flutes, they are nice and tall so you get a good volume in them and the height allows the colors to fade into a beautiful range of colors.

Don’t forget a beautiful serving tray to carry these around to everyone at your party! This Artland tray is one of our all time favorites, the metal finish is so classy and the handles make it super easy to carry back and forth to the kitchen.

The lipped edge on this tray is also a game changer, you can fill this tray with ice to keep your drinks or food dishes chilled even more. It’s solid all the way through too so melting ice or spilled drinks doesn’t seep through the edges of the tray. It’s one of our most used entertaining pieces!

The trick to this cocktail is to put the ice in first and then pour the grenadine in the glass. Then slowly add the orange juice and finally the tequila. This allows the beautiful layers to form creating a vibrant color transition without turning into a muddled single color.

Serve with maraschino cherries and slices of orange for the perfect fragrant garnish.

Happy entertaining!
