These two techniques for cooking steaks allow for maximum flavor due to high temperatures, fats and marinades. I wish I could say I prefer one way over the other but to me they are both delicious and one signifies summer time, outdoor grilling, while the other one can be done all year round. There are also certainly more ways to incorporate flavor into your steaks by utilizing dry herb rubs, different marinades, or by adding fresh herbs and other ingredients into the pan while cooking, but here are two simple ways to get you to where you need to go.
My number 1 advice to you would be to let it cook. Simple I know, but so many people get antsy and want to start flipping things without allowing the steak to caramelize and cook. Follow the tips and guidelines in the video for cooking temperatures and times and you’ll be in great shape! Good luck!!
