Basically raised in Frontera Grill and Topolobampo, Lanie brings a lifetime of hospitality experience to the family business. After spending many years in NYC working so some of the city’s best hospitality groups, culinary organizations, and pursuing her many other interests, Lanie re-joined the Frontera family in 2016 with the opening of Leña Brava. Her many trips to Oaxaca (her favorite place in the world!) spawned her love of all things mezcal. Assisting in curating the largest mezcal list in Chicago for the opening of Leña gave her the push she needed to turn her attention to mezcal and the spirits world full time. In the summer of 2017, she took on the role as the Spirits Director for Frontera Grill and Frontera Hospitality, helping to bring a fun and youthful energy to the bar programs.
