Watermelon Radish and Cucumber Sesame Salad Recipe

Perfect for summer, when watermelon radishes are amply available, this bright salad offsets the bitterness of the radish with a sweet kiss of honey and mellow touch of sesame.

Ingredients

  • 2 watermelon radish
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 cups pea or sunflower sprouts
  • 2 tbsp chopped shallot
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp raw honey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • With a Microplane Gourmet Series Slicer, slice radish and cucumber. Arrange on a plate with sprouts.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together shallots, oils, vinegar and honey. Salt and pepper generously, to taste.
