Perfect Pearl Sugar Waffles
Though most Liege waffle recipes require an overnight prep, we’ve found a recipe that can be whipped up while coffee is brewing, cooked until golden, and made into perfect homemade waffles in just about 45 minutes.

- .75 cups milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 3 eggs
- 1 cups butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- .5 tsp salt
- 1 cups pearl sugar
Place milk in a pot.
Heat just until warm to the touch.
Transfer to a bowl, whisk in sugar and yeast.
Allow to proof for 2-3 minutes, whisk in eggs, butter and vanilla.
