Homemade Dehydrated Flavored Salts Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ peeled and thinly sliced yellow onion
  • 15 thinly sliced garlic cloves
  • 8 strips of crisp cooked bacon
  • 1 cup of Kosher salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place each of the ingredients on a dehydrating sheet and spread them out.
  2. Dehydrate the onion at 125° for 4 to 6 hours and then grind it until small granules are formed and then mix it with 1/3 cup of salt.
  3. Dehydrate the garlic at 125° for 4 to 6 hours and then grind it until small granules are formed and then mix it with 1/3 cup of salt.
  4. Dehydrate the bacon at 145° for 24 to 28 hours and then grind it until small granules are formed and then mix it with 1/3 cup of salt.
