Love Is A Rose Cocktails
A cocktail infused with honest-to-god rose petals has to be the most romantic possible thing to serve your partner on the big day, amirite? Gimmicks aside, roses are a truly wonderful addition to gin-based cocktails, and there's no better time of year to go all out on florals.

- For the cocktail:
- 2 oz gin (ideally Hendricks)
- 2 oz vodka
- 2 oz heavy cream
- 2 oz honey syrup
- 1 oz fresh squeezed/strained lemon juice
- .5 oz fresh squeezed/strained lime juice
- 1 tsp rose water
- 4 slices cucumber
- Whites of two large eggs
- For the honey:
- 128 g very hot water
- 200 g honey
For the Cocktail:
Starting with the cream, combine all in a cocktail shaker and shake heartily without ice for 20 seconds. [Note: the shaker won't seal well without ice, so make sure you hold it tightly together!]
Add ice and shake for another 20 seconds.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a brandy glass or large coupe. Garnish with dried rose petals.
For the Honey Syrup:
Stir rapidly until completely combined. Store in the fridge.
