1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
½ cup unsweetened apple juice
½ cup coconut sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
Combine pumpkin puree, apple juice, spices, and sugar in a large saucepan and whisk until well mixed.
Bring mixture to a simmer for 5 - 10 minutes, stirring often until thickened.
