After you have baked your favorite cupcake recipe, allow them to cool and then fill up a pastry bag (fitted with a round tip) with white frosting. Use a piping bag (fitted with a round tip) and pile up a nice amount of frosting on top of the cupcake in a gold cupcake wrapper.
Then pour a generous amount of sprinkles into a shallow dish. After that roll the edge of the cupcake into the sprinkles making sure you go all the way around. Set the cupcake to the side.
To make small pots of gold, use one Rolo candy, a small dot of frosting on top and dip the Rolo top into the gold sprinkles.
