Grilled Homestyle Pizza with Honey Sriracha Glaze Recipe Recipe
  • 1 batch of store bought or homemade pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • ½ cup cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup pepperoni
  • ¼ of a purple onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • Fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • Red chili flakes
  • Greens
  • Flour & Cornmeal

For the Sauce:

  • ½-1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Preheat grill and pizza stone following instructions within Pizza Que.
  • Once grill is preheated (and not before!) dust dough and cutting board thoroughly with flour. Press or roll dough to desired thickness turning frequently to be sure bottom is not sticking.
  • Sprinkle pizza peel heavily with cornmeal and transfer dough to peel. Quickly add toppings and transfer to grill. If you wait too long the dough will start to rise and will stick to peel and you will end up with a mess.
  • Cook to desired level of doneness (between 7-20 minutes depending on how hot you are able to get your grill).
  • The last 2 minutes of cooking brush on the sriracha honey glaze on crust if desired.
  • Top pizza with greens, red chili flakes and honey if desired.
